Green Accounting for Indian States & Union Territories Project "GAISP" Project Sponsorship GIST seeks Institutional and Corporate sponsorships of two kinds for 'Phase 1' of the GAIS Project: "Monograph Sponsors" who will sponsor the publication of specific monographs and "Research Sponsors", who will enable us to secure the involvement of senior environmental economists and research assistants over the life of the project. Sponsors Benefits Acknowledgements in each of the eight interim Monographs (2005-2007) to be published by the Project , as well the final Project Report (2007) to disseminate project results Advertising space in the Project Report, in proportion to the quantum of sponsorship Designation as "Principal Monograph Sponsor" or "Research Sponsor" and acknowledgement as such in our website and all publications. Acknowledgements (including logo of Sponsor on home page) on the GIST Website set up to solicit comments (during the life of the project) & to publish interim results ( through respective Monographs) Advertising space and acknowledgements at an international Seminar to be held at New Delhi at the end of the project (to announce the final results of 'Phase 1' and to discuss the way forward with representatives of Indian States for 'Phase 2') Sponsors will also be acknowledged in all written external communications by the Project Directors, as part of a planned press campaign to broadcast results to a wide cross-section of people - academic institutions, environmental bodies, the State and Central Governments of India, and most importantly, the citizens of India. Acknowledgements will also accompany representations in national media by the Project Directors during the period of debate and discussion, which will follow the publication of 'Phase 1' interim and final results. 'Monograph' sponsorships cost between USD 10,000 and USD 16,000. Companies and Institutions may like to fund Monographs of special interest to them ( eg : Fertilizer companies may have a particular interest in Monograph 2 ; Eco-Tourism resorts for Monograph 5; Hospitals and Pharmaceutical companies for Monograph 6 ; etc). (click here for list of monographs) The cost of Research Sponsorships will depend on the kind of specialist sponsored while a Senior Environmental Economist will cost us about USD 10,000 per year. Sponsors are also invited for the Final Report, for which the funding structure is being discussed In brief, for relatively modest amounts of sponsorship, GAISP Directors offer you significant and valuable publicity which will help build your brand and identify you as an organization with a distinguished social responsibility programme.
